Beer Bread
3 cups self-rising flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 bottle (12 ounces) beer
1/4 cup melted butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a standard size bread pan with cooking spray. Mix dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and then add beer slowly. Stir to mix. Pour in prepared pan. Bake for approximately 1 hour or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Every 20 minutes or so brush melted butter on top of bread. Eat alone or spread with you favorite jam. Simple and delicious!!!
